There are so many fun, Lego-themed things you can do. Set up a ‘decorate your own Lego figure’ station. Cut out Lego figures from yellow card and have bowls with googly eyes, different colour cardboard clothes, kokis, stickers and anything else you need to decorate your Lego figure. You can also have a treasure hunt in the back garden by hiding Lego blocks. Whoever finds the most hidden pieces wins a Lego prize! There are loads of ideas online, just Google it!
This party idea can be really girly, or something the boys will want to join in on too. Arts and crafts and little home-made tents dotted around the garden are just a few of the cool things you can do. Send out invitations to your friends, inviting them to Camp *insert your camp name here*. You and your parents can make little tents and teepees out of fabric and bamboo sticks. There are loads of games and snacks that can go with the theme: a scavenger hunt; making your own camp bunting and even toasting marshmallows over the campfire for s’mores (a yummy campfire treat that has a roasted marshmallow and chocolate sandwiched between two biscuits).
Have you ever seen the series Wipeout on TV? This summer party theme is based on that. Think slippery slides, big red balls, obstacles and lots of water. You can hire a blow-up water slide, or simply make your own obstacles out of beach balls and a slippery slide. Find a skin-friendly foam to pour over the obstacles to make it extra slippery. Everyone will have a ball!
